🌸 THE STORY BEHIND OUR SEED-PAPER COLLECTION
Flora Acre’s seed-paper collection was inspired by a day spent with children at an orphanage. Their hand-drawn pictures of gardens sparked the idea of creating plantable paper goods that could carry thoughtful messages, mark meaningful moments, and eventually return to the soil.
From plantable calendars and message cards to other seed-paper gifts, every piece is designed to bring together creativity, growing, and giving. When the children saw our first finished pieces, their excitement reminded us that even a small idea can grow into something filled with hope.
To carry that inspiration forward, we donate 50% of the profits from our seed-paper collection to support children in need, helping more young lives grow with care, opportunity, and hope. 🌿
HOW TO PLANT YOUR SEED PAPER
HOW TO PLANT YOUR SEED PAPER
Seed paper can be planted directly in soil, turning calendars, cards, tags, and other plantable paper products into a hands-on growing experience.
Most seeds need consistent moisture, suitable light, fresh air, and a little patience. Depending on the seed variety and growing conditions, seedlings may begin to emerge in approximately 3–5 weeks.
1. Soak the Seed Paper
Fully soak the seed paper in water until it becomes evenly damp and flexible.
2. Plant the Paper
Place the seed paper on prepared potting soil. Larger pieces may be torn into smaller sections to spread the seeds more evenly. Cover with a thin layer of soil.
3. Keep It Moist
Water gently after planting. Check the soil regularly and keep it consistently moist, but not waterlogged.
4. Choose a Bright Location
Place the container in a warm, well-ventilated location with suitable natural light, such as a bright windowsill or sheltered balcony.
5. Watch for Seedlings
Continue maintaining moisture and observe the soil for signs of germination. Growing times will vary by seed variety, temperature, light, and care.
6. Thin or Transplant
Once the seedlings are established and have developed several true leaves, gently thin or transfer them into larger containers with fresh soil. Add plant nutrients only when appropriate for the selected variety.

I bought this seed calendar from Flora Acre last year and honestly didn’t expect it to grow so well.
I barely did anything besides giving them sunlight and water. Can’t wait to see what this year’s will bring 🌸
I had one last year and the blooms were gorgeous, so I grabbed another for 2026. It’s kind of become a little yearly ritual now 💚
I saw this year’s calendar drop and instantly ordered again — last time I waited too long and it sold out 😅 Can’t wait to start planting! 🌱
Got mine from Flora Acre again this year. Planted last week and it’s already sprouting — these seeds never disappoint! 🌼
